Fighting the Unseen Enemies
Abstract
Some of the greatest stories are born of crisis. And sometimes it is during these worst of times when we see the best of people and institutions emerge.
In this last one and a half year, the CoVid-19 pandemic wreaked a significant impact to the way we live. Unprecedented, unpredicted, unforeseen, and unseen, this was the defining public health crisis of our time.
The Philippine Journal of Cardiology also begins the first phase of its digital transformation as we work towards transition to a hybrid print and electronic open access journal, and hopefully getting indexed in global databases, as it looks forward to its 50th anniversary in 2022, simultaneous with the 70th year commemoration of the PHA.
