Philippine Learning Framework for Specialty Fellows in General Adult Cardiology
Abstract
For a long time, the training of fellows for the specialty of cardiology has not been looked into in greater detail. The first local guideline devoted to a discussion of cardiology training in the country was released by the Philippine Heart Association-Philippine College of Cardiology in 2007. Since then, no update has been formally released regarding the document. Such an update is undeniably necessary, especially since the field of cardiovascular medicine is dynamic and ever-changing.
