PJC has been accepted into WPRIM
The Philippine Heart Association (PHA) is extremely pleased to announce that the Philippine Journal of Cardiology (PJC) has been accepted for inclusion in the World Health Organization’s Western Pacific Region Index Medicus (WPRIM). PJC will now be a part of a reputed index which has other high quality medical journals.
The WPRIM is the regional bibliographic index of medical and health journals published by the Member States of the Western Pacific Region. This is the Region’s contribution to the Global Index Medicus (GIM) initiative which aims to extend to all the benefits of the knowledge that is essential to the fullest attainment of health. WPRIM allows free, public access to research and publications that may not be available through other popular medical indexes.
This is a proud moment for PHA and especially the Editorial Board of PJC. We are positive that this will help us to further our stated objective of ensuring high quality cardiovascular research is available and accessible to specialists and practitioners not only in the Asia Pacific Region but across the world.
We would like to thank the National Journal Selection Committee and the Philippine Council of Health Research and Development for including PJC in the WPRIM.
